These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of LegitLoad provided by LegitLoad at https://legitload.com. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. Together with these Terms, it forms the agreement between you and LegitLoad regarding LegitLoad. These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protection laws apply.

1. The Service

LegitLoadprovides tools to monitor publicly available FMCSA carrier registration data for changes and to help verify counterparties in freight transactions. Features, plans, and availability may change. Outputs and alerts are informational and provided "as is" without guarantees of completeness, accuracy, or fitness for a particular decision.

2. Accounts

Most features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

3. Acceptable Use

• You may not use LegitLoad for unlawful purposes or fraud.
• You may not abuse, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.
• You may not scrape, resell, or redistribute registry-derived data in ways that violate law or these Terms.

4. Plans & Billing

Free and paid plans may be offered. Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. You can manage or cancel from the Account page (including Stripe's customer portal). Refunds are handled as stated at checkout and as required by law.

5. Disclaimer; Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.LegitLoad is not a substitute for your own due diligence, legal advice, or compliance obligations. To the fullest extent permitted by law, LegitLoad's aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to LegitLoad for LegitLoad in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100).

6. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance, except where prohibited by law.
